MAKING POWERFUL DECISIONS TO CHANGE OUR JOURNEY

Immigration is probably a solution for many people.

People leave their country with hope. Some of them have a goal; many of them have a dream. Years pass and one day the immigrant decides to come back home. What's the feeling when they make the decision to come back?

First, immigrants have to leave their house, family, and country. It is really hard. But, sometimes there is no choice. Fleeing from war, danger, and poverty, are powerful reasons to go away.

Later, new challenges come up when immigrants stay at the host country. They must learn a new language, adapt to a new culture, and survive. However, immigrants find strengths to overcome their obstacles and achieve their goals.

Finally, when immigrant's goal is achieved, some of them want to come back to their own country. They miss it and they miss their family, too. This week I've been talking to a woman who came to the United States about fifteen years ago. Her goal was to give her daughter a good education. She definitively achieved her goal. So, there is no more motivation to stay longer in the States. She plans to go back home very soon.

However, new challenges, new goals and sometimes new fears come up. Below, there is a personalized story to beat a resistance for someone who is planning to leave soon.
